During this time she also assisted the Home Office on a number of initiatives, including delivering national training on community safety, being part of the Home Office ASB Squad and undertaking peer reviews as part of the Ending Gang and Youth Violence work.

In 2013, Janine started her role as Managing Director of a national, not for profit, membership organisation. With approximately 280 members, made up of housing associations, Councils and Police Forces, Janine led a team which worked to share, develop and influence best practice in relation to community safety and ASB.
